The Bank is looking for a dynamic & self-driven professional to join as Head of Human Resources Division having extensive exposure and knowledge in HR Management & Development.
The candidate must be capable to lead a team of HR professionals and have in-depth knowledge with clear understanding of HR Policy & Procedures, HR Planning & Budgeting, HR Training & Development, Employment/Labour Laws, Contract Act, Companies Act, Banking Companies Act and HR best practices.
Position Range: Senior Management Level.
Job Description / Responsibility
Formulation & Implementation of HR Policy & Strategic Management;
Review and update HR Policy periodically;
Manpower Planning, Recruitment & Placement according to requirement;
Formulate job description & job specification of the employees;
Develop Performance Appraisal System based on KPIs of the employees & oversee the appraisals periodically for talent management & strategic workforce planning;
Develop a sound HR System for the bank & maintain required databases;
Assess training needs of the employees and to undertake their skills & capacity developments in line with the business requirement of the bank;
Pay-Roll Administration, Leave Management, Staff Welfare, settlement of Service Benefits of employees;
Oversee staff support & motivation programs, employee relations, talents retention and very effective grievance management & dispute resolution;
Any other jobs as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Masters degree in any discipline from a recognized local or foreign university having no 3rd class/division or CGPA below 2 in any public examinations. Preference will be given to the candidates having advanced degree and/or certification in Human Resources Management (HRM);
Any professional qualification/certification in a related discipline shall be considered as an added advantage.

15 – 20 years banking experience including minimum 8 years of HR management experience, out of which 3 years as Head of HR in any scheduled Bank.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in Bengali & English;
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, analytical and IT skills;
Adequate knowledge about the banking products & services;
Well conversant of Country’s Employment/Labour Laws, Contract Act, Companies Act, Banking Companies Act & HR best practices;
Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, banking rules & regulations, practice & procedures of banking operations, internal control objectives & mechanism, automated system etc.
Adaptable and must be able to work under pressure independently.
