Ensure compliance of daily business transaction with the prevailing taxation laws;
Reconcile the deducted/ deposited tax with the corresponding expenses/ income on regular basis;
Assist in calculation of current tax and deferred tax provision on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis;
Prepare regulatory reports and ensure due submission of the same;
Maintain liaison with the regulators and the external consultants;
Coordinate with the regulatory inspection teams, external auditors etc. as and when required;
Support in tax planning, forecasting and projections including financial planning and analysis;
Update any changes in the legal and regulatory frame work to the respective stakeholders;
Candidates should have a MBA/ BBA or equivalent degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale from a reputed UGC approved university

Having proper knowledge on taxation laws (Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Excise Duty etc.), regulatory rules and regulations applicable for financial institutions(FI);
CA (partly qualified) would be considered as an added qualification for the candidate;
Candidate having experience in bank/FI will be considered as added advantage;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Bangla and English;
Competent in using MS Office applications
